-(1) Section 20A of the Act. When a civil servant is promoted according to this, the following should be done:-
(a) As per the decision of the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers in the gazetted special and first class posts,
(b) According to the decision of the Secretary of the concerned Ministry, Secretariat or Commission in gazetted second and third category posts,
(c) According to the decision of the authority in the gazetted post.
(2) When promoted according to sub-rule (1), from the record in the concerned office and the civil library, after understanding the continuity of service and age of the said employee, the promotion should be reported to the Ministry of General Administration and the civil library.
(3) Section 20A of the Act. According to this, the civil servants who are promoted to a higher position will be provided benefits not less than the benefits they get when they take leave from lower positions. 87b…………….
